We went to UIL today. It was 100 degrees in the shade (thats ferinheit, not celsius for all you foreign readers--"I'm sure there are quite a few" said the boy, his voice dripping with sarcasm) We had a theory that since it was hot at band camp and we were good, since it was hot here that we would be good. It was a thin hope, but we held onto it. Our motto for the day was "don't suck, blow!" We marched pretty well. We got ONE'S. I was quite excited as this meant that I wasn't going to get yelled at and we can come in at 8:00 tomorrow like normal people. We saw some pretty good bands. The crappiest one was Loanoke-they had an aweful Elvis show. If anyone from Loanoke is reading, I know the truth hurts, but that was crap. We ate at Cici's!!! The best pizza value anywhere! I hate Cici's.
