Pearls make it professional y'all!

So, today was BPA competition. I know we're total nerds, but its ok--we just can't hide that fightin' BPA pride. It was at Mesquite High School, of all places. So, even though we thought State would be the last time we saw the heavenly edifice that is the tower of Mesquite Memorial Stadium this season, we were wrong. Despite being underwhelmed at the Skeeter Pride of the school, there were some mean kids from Wiley who were talking about me behind my back in front of me, but that is beside the point.

Our small business management team consisting of me, Catherine, Auburn, and Ashley Roundtree went into this hoping to not suck too badly, and to not get last place. After wasting about 1/3 of our research and prep. time, then having our projector malfunction and rearrange our presentation into what looked like some cruel joke of cubism (I hyperbolize, the actual information was visible), we learned upon arriving back at Celina that we placed 1st and get to go to STATE! "But, professor, where is state BPA competition?" "I'm glad you asked, Genesis!"
State competition is in none other than beautiful, scenic.........Lubbock, TX wooo.
It just goes to show that people do work better under pressure, too much preperation isn't always necessary, and purple kills.

Brian and John are going to State in their respective events (I'm sorry I don't recall what they were at the moment)

T-shirts for everyone! Speaking of which, I need some OAP ideas.

Erin Brockovich (sp?) is on TBS!!

Congratulations you guys...Mesquite seems to hold luck for Celina this year involving state competitions.

As far as the t-shirts go, I like the designs you showed me except the green nordic design behind 'the crucible' probably sould look better in a dark gray so it kind of looks like it's etched in stone on the black....Congratulations again you guys, ya'll are awesome

I still can't believe there was actually a kid named Genesis. Not that we saw him in person, but just knowing that he is out there existing in Mesquite is funny.
