My Senior is inflammed!!

The man at the door says, "Only time will tell", while
the woman at the table comforts; says "All is well;" now
the schoolbus fills, "You can't sit here." What
will become of my terminal year?
"Pick me," I yell, as the dodgeball hits
Reach, target, safety apps. by me sit
I'm going away, don't try to stop me

So, even though I love it, I'm ready for high school to be over. It seems like I don't have the energy for one more year. It already seems like I have "let myself go," but I maintain that it's just a lack of novelty. Since UT's application is submitted, I can leisurely complete the others because they don't have rolling admissions and all use the common app (which shouldn't be confused with the Texas common app) In fact, I'm really not sure why they haven't integrated the common apps, because it's such a bother to repeat myself.

OMG, if you haven't been in North Texas today, you completely missed out on the best biblical-grade flood since Noah (at least it was a flood compared to our drought). Now, I know the question on all your minds is if it'll be enough to lift the burn ban, so that we might terrorize children outdoors once again as God intended, but only saturation will tell if North Texans are again cleared for rape and pillage of the land.

Yay for rain. I've had rain everday since I've been here, either little showers or heavy deluges that have lasted for days. Oh, I'm so happy for you. Perhaps you can do a delayed fourth of July celebration with firecrackers, or create a holiday for the lift of the burn ban. Here I talk about burn bans and they don't know what I'm saying.

Senior year is hard....well, actually, I don't remember it being hard, but I'm sure it was. I remember not wanting to do anything at all, but mostly I just remember how much fun it was and how many times I got to go to state. Don't worry, only a few months to go and then you get to wear a dorky white robe, carry an empty diploma folder covered in orange vinyl and walk across the stage and then its done for a month or so....

....so....ciao
