Thousands of U.S. and Iraqi troops and police commandos swept through a cluster of rebellious towns southwest of Baghdad today, in our latest offensive strategy against Sunni Muslim insurgents. The raids by 5,000 American, Iraqi and some British troops, in the so called 'triangle of death,' comes two weeks after U.S. forces stormed Falluja and routed rebels there.
