I'm Just Not That Into You

So, does it make you suspicious when colleges are way too eager for you to apply. Example: "If you apply today, we'll waive your application fee, and you don't have to write an essay, and we'll tell you our decision in 3 days, annnd you'll automatically be considered for these scholarships, annnnd we'll send you a free sweatshirt and a new car so you can get to our college!" Sometimes when people seem desperate, it turns you off of them even more, and the fact that these school haven't learned this disturbs me, and may serve as the main reason I don't attend. I wouldn't waste 4 years learning how to write an infomercial...

When I come to the club step aside

When we were freshmen, we were the dirty freshmen, and we were hated by all. Every year since, we've been so inclusive to the freshmen classes that I feel somewhat offended by comments that they feel picked on. They don't know what being outcast is like.
I really think that the freshmen will get more into it when ever we travel more for games. The band bus is where it happens

WHAT??!! The freshmen feel PICKED ON??? I didn't feel picked on, and if emotional rollercoaster me didn't feel like that, they shouldn't feel like that, especially since the upperclassmen are even more inclusive this year.

So, I thought about becoming anorexic today, but it takes way too much commitment...

Fashion is a form of ugliness so unbearable that it must be altered every 6 months

--Oscar Wilde

In a land with such freedom of choice, I am glad that I have enough sense not to let myself look as hideous as some of those that can be found clotting the thoroughfares of Stonebriar mall. It was only today (well, yesterday by now) that I saw a woman in a bright purple tank-top (and trust me, the last thing this woman needed was a tank-top) with a metallic dinosaur on it paired with black capris and brown cowboy boots. This is only one of many: people wearing gargantuant fanny packs or denim shirts...with jeans...........matching jeans.................worn at the natural waist.......................................tucked in....................................with a leather, silver-star-spangled belt; people with hair that looks like it was the product of an overdose on heroin chic. Not that there is anything inherently wrong with wearing unflattering things, but the fact that you're doing it in public...

Changing the subject: Why is it that the one thing you want people to know is the thing you always have to keep a secret, either because of friends or personal reasons? All the effort you put into thinking about whether you should come out and say something overshadows the actual issue.

Just in case you hadn't heard.....I'm applying to UT, USC, Carnegie Mellon, U Penn, and Harvard. I have a strange feeling that nobody is going to want me, and it kinda frightens me. I realize that I'm automatically accepted to UT, and that most people get in somewhere, I just feel like I'm not enough of a star for some places. Either way, I'm ready for high school to end.
